Abstract Model based systems engineering is often used as an alternative to the document design of software or other technical systems. Its focus lies on modelling procedural aspects products, rather than physical aspects. In mechanical engineering, geometry and properties product like strength, stiffness, kinematic kinetic behaviour are described by CAD-systems. This paper tries link model tools with modern CAD facilitate digitization development processes products part new digital business models.
